- We will receive and temporarily store your packages
- Before you arrive on campus, we will have already put your boxes in your dorm room!

Step 1 — Send dorm room and contact info to BRSS
Email your name (the incoming student), Cornell NetID, on-campus address, room number, and contact phone number to: brss@studentagencies.com

Step 2 — Ship your packages to us

Reference Line 1: Student Name
Reference Line 2: Dormitory and Room Number
Note that the inclusion of the student’s name and dormitory room number in the reference lines is essential to delivering your packages on time. It is also acceptable to write this information on the outside of the box in permanent marker. For shipments of more than one box, it is also advisable to write a batch number (1/3, 2/3, etc.) on the outside of each box.

Step 3 — Receipt and payment
After we receive and inventory your items, we will bill you the appropriate amount via the Cornell Bursar’s office.
The final charge is determined by the actual quantity and weight of packages received by BRSS.

Step 4 — Delivery
When you walk into your room on move-in day, your things will have already arrived!

| Pre-Arrival Drop-Off Pricing |
|
There are two elements to Pre-Arrival Drop-Off pricing: Shipping and Dorm Room Drop-Off.
Shipping:
Shipping charges are incurred at the time of shipment through the shipping vendor of your choice and are determined by a number of factors, including:
- Quantity, weight, and dimensions of the package(s) sent
- The zip code from which the packages are sent
- Please note: BRSS will be receiving packages until Friday, August 15th.
You should allow 5-7 business days for delivery via UPS Ground or another comparable service. Please ship no later than Friday, August 8th.
Dorm Room Drop-Off Rates:
| Standard Packages (under 60 lbs AND under 24" x 24" x 24") |

| Overweight Packages (between 60-90 lbs AND under 24" x 24" x 24") |
$60/box |
| Overweight Oversized Packages (between 60-90 lbs AND over 24" x 24" x 24") |

Drop-off fees will be collected through the University Bursar Office and will show up on your monthly bursar bill.

Packing Tips and Additional Charges:
- All boxes should be shipped in new condition, with all seams taped.
- BRSS and Cornell University are not liable for any damage sustained during the shipment process.
- Boxes that arrive damaged or in poor condition may be subject to a $20 special handling fee, which may include repacking.
- BRSS reserves the right to refuse any and all items weighing over 90 lbs. In all such cases, prior arrangement will be made with BRSS, at which time a rate will be determined.

| Terms and Conditions |

Please read the terms and conditions carefully:
- All packages sent through UPS are subject to UPS terms & conditions and UPS tariff.
- Packages received after August 15 may not be delivered before move-in day (August 22).
- BRSS is not responsible for statements made by UPS or any other carrier guaranteeing delivery on or by a specific date.
- The final fee for service will be determined by the actual weight and number of packages shipped through UPS, not the estimated number given by customers during registration
- BRSS reserves the right to refuse delivery of any and all items which arrive prior to the student’s contact information being emailed to BRSS.
